Biografia:

Vive e lavora nell’area di New York da oltre 25 anni. Ha conseguito una laurea in Arte presso l’Università del Maryland, dopo aver frequentato il Maryland Institute of Art e Art Student League di New York. Ha lavorato come insegnante di Arte sia nelle scuole pubbliche di Baltimora sia privatamente. Le sue opere sono entrate in numerose mostre di gallerie e musei dell’area di New York, Chicago, Washington DC e Columbus, Ohio. Numerose recensioni sulla sua opera sono state pubblicate su The New York Art Review e NY Arts Magazine. Ha sperimentato diverse tecniche pittoriche spaziando dall’astrattismo al realismo. Nel 2010 ha aderito al movimento Immagine & Poesia, movimento che si è diffuso a livello internazionale attraverso il WEB.

I use for my compositions intricately woven fabrics and objects collected from around the world, brightly colored glass, and antique ceramics to create a unified form that is both inventive and meticulously composed. Marsha Solomon

Per le mie composizioni uso tessuti dalle trame intricate e oggetti raccolti in giro per il mondo, vetri dai colori vivaci e ceramiche antiche al fine di creare una forma unificata che è insieme frutto di creatività e di precisa tecnica compositiva.
