Biografia

Anton Szandor LaVey[1], (11 Aprile 1930 – 29 1997 Ottobre, Chicago) il cui vero nome è Howard Stanton Levey, fu il fondatore americano e Massimo Sacerdote della chiesa di Satana e anche scrittore, occultista, musicista e attore. E' stato l'autore della Bibbia Satanica e il fondatore del Satanismo, un sistema sintetizzato della sua concezionde della natura umana e dei principi di filosofi che professavano il materialismo e l'individualismo, per cui affermava di non avere "ispirazione sovrannaturale".
