BIOGRAFIA

Nasce a Firenze il 07/05/1955 da una modesta famiglia, segue per forza gli studi presso un'istituto di grafica pubblicitaria e che finisce malamente. poi si iscrive all'Accademia di Belle arti di Firenze, ma abbandona dopo due anni perchè non accettta che una cosa splendida e scapestrata come la pittura fosse trattata in modo così tedioso, sipponente, pedestre e burocratico da individui privi di talento e fantasia. Dagli anni 70 lavora presso varie agenzie pubblicitarie sia in Firenze , Bologna, Milano. Dopo a morte del padre fa molti lavori mortificanti pur di poter continuare nella sua ricerca artistica e nello studio dell'arte. Alla fine del 1999 si diploma al liceo artistico di Firenze. Nel 2001 si riscrive all'Accademia di Belle Arti di Firenze dove frequenta la cattedra di decorazione, scultura, pittura laureandosi. Nel 2008 vince il Master presso l'Accademia di Belle Arti di SANPIETROBURGO. Nel 1990 incomincia la sua esperienza di poeta e scultore, pubblicando cinque libri tra poesia e piccoli racconti brevi. Nel 2011 dopo vari anni di ripensamenti scrive "Il Manifesto Radicale" frutto del suo pensiero e convincimenti dell'attuale mondo dell'arte. Divulgando "Il Manifesto Radicale" presso i più importanti musei mondiali. Importanti per la sua formazione d'artista la breve amicizia e frequentazione con Primo Conti, Leonardo Cremonini e Alberto Moretti. Mentre basilaria per la sua vita umana e didattica l'amicizia e frequentazione con Mario Mariottti e Silvia Loffredo , che lo colmeranno di suggerimenti per la sua formazione e profondo tormento esistenziale molto esplicito sino all'inizio degli anni 70. Un tormento che si esprime nell'ateismo esistenziale espresso nel suo modo di vivere una volta negato Dio, vede un mondo in ogni parte di esso e può sentirsi felice per il solo fatto di lottare contro Dio padrone; il nichilsmo è già vinto anche se la sofferenza e l'ingiustizia continueranno a imperversare.

Andrea Cioni nato a Firenze in data 07-05-1955. E' grafico pubblicitario, decoratore, pittore, scultore. Per molti ritengono MONO difficilmente catalogabile in una corrente artistica definita, è immutabile che egli tragga gli spunti per la sua arte dai turbamenti esistenziali della società attuale, ed è in base a ciò che egli merita di essere considerato il padre del manifesto del silenzio radicale. Il suo lavoro è sempre teso allo studio dei turbamenti dell'animo umano di fronte all'esistenza. L'unico scopo del vivere e dell'agire per MONO pare esprimersi diletticamente fuori dell'intimità esperenziale, nel combattere nel sociale le ingiustizie, oltre che le espressioni di poca umanità.
