Joachim Blank und Karl Heinz Jeron arbeiten seit 1996 unter dem Namen *Blank & Jeron" als Künstlerduo zusammen. Seit 1993 produzierten sie in unterschiedlichen Konstellationen Internetprojekte im Kunst und Kulturkontext. Neben reinen Internetprojekten realisieren sie derzeit hybride Projekte, die das Internet thematisieren, sich jedoch als Hüngungen, Objekte und Installationen und Events auf den physischen Raum ausdehnen. Dabei befassen Sie sich mit Strategien zum Informations- und Kommunikationsrecycling im Kontext der "Informationsgesellschaft".

Introduction to net.art is a manifesto of net.art formulated by Bookchin & Shulgin and carved in stone by Blank & Jeron. The representation procedure is derived from Dump your Trash! With the aid of a software agent, this on-line cemetery recycles existing web pages into new pages. Pages filed at this site stay stored, even after the original site has long been shut down. On the one hand, the real texts carved in stone secure their presence in physical space and at the same time indicate the subversive character of the information overkill an ironic commentary on the way we deal with data trash in the information society.

re-m@il asks the visitor to help take care of electronic correspondence. Across the WWW it is possible to forward unattended email to re-mail@writeme.com and to have it processed there by readers. In this project, Blank & Jeron do not ironize and criticize the way we have come to use the internet, but rather the mechanisms we believe can help us use the internet to cope with our reality faster, better, and more effectively.
