BIOGRAFIA
Vive e lavora ad Amsterdam. E’ una giornalista e scrive nel campo dell’arte, nuovi media e media theory. Lavora per la radio (dal 1991 per radio Potapoe in Amsterdam, una radio pirata, dopo per VPRO), dal 1996 ha pubblicato regolarmente testi ed interviste (nettime, Telepolis, Mute). Nel 1995 ha organizzato una radio section per Mediafestival “next5minutes�?, nel 1997 con Andreas Broekman “net radio workshop�? a Rotterdam. E’ particolarmente interessata alla net.art, net.radio. Critic/theorist.

POETICA
La forma in cui viene proposta l’arte in rete, il fatto di essere immateriale agli occhi dell’utente, fa vacillare il fine primo del web: comunicare e interagire. Questo potrebbe accadere se le istituzioni o comunque un soggetto garante non farà da supervisore. Il WEB poteva sembrare, ed in fondo era nelle speranze di tutti, la grande soluzione delle disarmonie informative, ma con la “messa in vendita�? di tutte le forme espressive che lo ha investito possiamo registrare ancora una volta la vittoria del pensiero di pochi.
